Requiem for a Seagull

MICHAEL STRANG

Cornish Engine House, Botallack

Camborne School of Mines - July 2 to August 28 1997

The CSM Gallery was pleased to host a very successful exhibition by Michael Strang, the well known English artist who specialises in seascapes, landscapes, portraits and flowers.

Some 34 of his finished paintings were on show, as well as a series of small studies previously shown at the Tate Gallery, St Ives in their "Century of Images" exhibition in 1995.

Part of the proceeds from this exhibition went towards building a new 10 bedded hospice for St Julia's, Hayle.

The gallery no longer exists! Such is life.
